The exposure on LinkedIn has a more professional overtone because it requires you to actually know the person or know someone that knows them. I think that it is great that they have businesses pages and personal pages because they are SEO friendly. Additionally, it helps build your business brand online in a professional looking manner. Fake PayPal Scam to look out for

Yesterday, I received a notice that my account was under review in my junk email from PayPal (so I thought). It said that I had authorized $246 for an Apple iPod video something or other. It indicated that if it was a mistake to contact them using the link button provided on the email.

Come to find out that it was all a phishing scam to get me to key in the passcode for my real PayPal account. Luckily, I went directly to the Web site to report the strange issue, so this eliminates the ability for anyone to view my key strokes. I always thought I was pretty safe, and it is interesting that I did not think that this was a real threat before now. I thought that it would be more obvious. They had an id number for the email and all. However, they did not use my first and last name, nor did they send it to me directly. It said in the sent box in the "to" portion "unknown." These are red flags that should be always reported to the company, which I did. This saves me and hopefully others from receiving these deceitful messages that could make people panic into giving up their real information.

This is a business update for everyone that does any transactions online. This could be for personal or a company account, remember they all spend the same to criminals.

The reason for this trend is the lack of security in traditional corporate jobs. Therefore, this generation is quickly eclipsing their older generations of entrepreneurs because they are armed with technology that was not available before. For instance, there are plenty of individuals under 30 that are considered successful millionaires from starting innovative companies. Many times these companies are done strictly online. I feel very proud of this upcoming generation's entrepreneurial spirit.

Apparently, the trend is to begin a "private franchise" or in other words, a referral networking group.
